Soft Porn
Soft Porn is something that does not include the entire graphics of intercourse which includes foreplay, arousal, oral stimulation of genetical, penetration and ejaculation. Instead, soft Porn only depicts sexual intentions that gives a Dopamine rush or a urge to watch the similar content.
It has become so normal in today’s generation that everyone is too familiar with this type of content. Adults, teenagers and even children are now consuming this type of content without any hesitation. Now the time has come where there is no one to take accountability of such things. And the most main reason for this common trend is “Social Media”.
Since the era of ” Tik Tok” has ended this has become more prominent among children. Where before the content which is only accessible for the adults now is only few clicks away from the children. And in the country like India with the largest population there in no specific rules and regulations for such breakdown of the nation.
UDAYA Survey (2023) : Conducted in Bihar and Uttar Pardesh which included 3885 adolesent boys and 7766 girls aged 15-19 yrs, which clearly shown that 47% boys and 6% of the girls encountered Pornography by ” Social Media”. And 58% teen globally encountered pornography through social media i.e Instagram reels, Youtube shorts and etc.
Is Social Media Responsible ?
Whom we should blame for this critical situation. In todays generation where Instagram, Facebook and etc app accessible to all. Where there are no age restrictions at all. And the so called ‘ content ‘ which is nothing just a soft porn is posted on daily bases by the so called ‘content creators’, the content is consumed by all kind of age categories and regions.
They have nothing to do with the people who are consuming that content and what kind of affect the content make in someones life. They gets famous by depicting the body parts that comes in the term ” soft porn “. After seeing such type of content children and even teenagers inspires from the popularity and views on this type of content.
Girls and boys at the age group of 13-14 has started making the exploit content to earn money and fame. Cause of the content the see through the small window in their hands. And just think if they see only the right content, they will perform the positive outcome. This is human nature and children behaviour.
With the shame, I would say that most the youth is consuming and getting inspired by the vulgar content available on the social media. The social media which was used for the human welfare has been emerged as a biggest drawback of the social media. Social Media has become a erotic platform.
Today’s youth is getting attracted to such stupidity because of lack of sex education an the correct guidance towards such things. And out of the curiosity they get involved more and may commit some mistakes that can become a guilt for the further lifetime.
Solution !
- Government should make some laws to protect youth from such destruction strict actions should be taken against the ‘Vulgar Content Creator’ or ‘Soft Porn Creators’.
- Youth should be given the sex education and the correct guidance about each and every aspect of the life.
- And awareness programmes should be started to encourage children for the rights things instead of creating vulgarity on social media.
