Suvendu Adhikari filed a appeal in the High Court and the High Court has ordered both the ruling party and Centre Government to submit the detailed report on the situation. The further hearing has been scheduled at 17 April.
He urged Border Security Force ( BSF ) to be deployed in the area, along with the state police for the safety of the Hindu Peoples.

Three peoples died on the friday night when a praying group was converted into a mob violence against the Waqf (Amendment) Act. In which a father ans son was brutally murdered named as Hargobindo Das and Chandan Das. And one muslim Ajaz Ahmed was killed in the police firing.

Jyotirmay Singh Matho on Bengal Riots
BJP’S Purulia MP Jyotirmay Singh Matho has written letter to the Union Minister Amit Shah urging the centre to declare bordering districts such as Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia and South 24 Parganas as ‘distributed areas’ under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act ( AFSPA )
In the letter dated April 13, Mr Matho wrote that district Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia and South 24 Parganas have witnessed violence against Hindus. He has also claimed that over 86 Hindus houses and shops were looted in Murshidabad district. In Jhaubana village betel leaf plantation were set a blaze in what he described as ‘ targeted economic sabotage’ .
